Als wir über den Angriff am 6.12.2021 auf das selbstverwaltete queer-feministische Hausprojekt mitbekommen haben, waren wir erschüttert. Der Schock und das Entsetzen wurde durch den Fakt ausgelöst, dass der Angriff von der Seite der angeblichen „linken Mitstreiter*innen“ durchgeführt wurde. Die gewalttätige Attacke auf Syrena verdeutlicht uns, dass die Indoktrination der national-konservativen PiS-Partei und ihre Zustimmung zur Gewalt auch manche „linke Kreise“ erreicht und stark beeinflusst hat.
Das einzige queer-feministische Wohnprojekt in Warschau, welches Räume für sämtliche linke emanzipatorische Projekte bat, wie Sex Work Polska oder Inicjatywa Pracownicza (de. Arbeiterinitiative) und wo viele Personen, die nicht den heteronormativen weißen polnisch-katholischen Typus entsprechen, ihres Zuhause gefunden haben, ist zum Opfer von antiemanzipatorischen, homophoben und antifeministischen Kräften gefallen.
Gerade jetzt, angesichts der immer stärker werdenden nationalen, konservativen und rückschrittlichen Tendenzen in der polnischen Gesellschaft, sind solche Räume sehr wichtig.
Deswegen solidarisieren wir uns,
die F*eministas, mit ganzem Herz und Verstand mit dem Syrena-Projekt!Macker auf die Fresse! Nieder mit dem Patriarchat! Immer und überall!

When we heard about the attack on 6.12.2021 on the self-organised queer-feminist house project, we were shaken. The shock and horror was triggered by the fact that the attack was carried out by the side of the alleged „leftist fellows“. The violent attack on Syrena shows us that the indoctrination of the national-conservative PiS party and its approval of violence has also reached and strongly influenced some „left circles“.
The only queer-feminist house project in Warsaw, which provided spaces for all leftist emancipatory projects, such as Sex Work Polska or Inicjatywa Pracownicza (engl. Workers‘ Initiative) and was home of many people who do not conform to the heteronormative white Polish-Catholic thoughts have found their home, was now sacrificed to anti-emancipatory, homophobic and anti-feminist forces.
Especially now, in times of increasingly strong national, conservative and regressive tendencies in the polish society, such spaces are very important.
Therefore, we,
as the f*eministas, solidarize with all our hearts and minds with the Syrena project!
